Testosterone replacement has been proven to decrease many aging symptoms that men over 35 suffer due to low testosterone levels. Many of the aging deficiencies realted to low testosterone levels are attributed to weight gain, low sex drive, mood swings, decreased lean muscle mass and deminishing strenght and mental clarity. Some of the most significant testosterone deficiency symdromes are Andropause and Hypogonadism. Andropause is the male equivalent of menopause in women, while Hypogonadism is both apparent in both men and women who suffer form abnormal levels of testosterone. Testosterone replacement therapy can administered in several ways, injections, creams, gels, tablets and pellets. Doctors often administer testosterone as infrequently as every two weeks and in some cases every month.
